This one-day professional workshop is designed for healthcare professionals, social workers, chaplains, long-term care staff, hospice and palliative care teams, community organizations, students, and anyone supporting Muslim patients and their families during serious illness and end-of-life care.​​​
About the trainer
Shahina Siddiqui, BA. LLD.
Executive director of ISSA Canada
Shahina is a nationally recognized educator, community leader, and advocate with more than 40 years of experience supporting Muslim individuals and families through grief, funeral arrangements, and end-of-life care, including over 25 years of service through ISSA. She has trained healthcare providers and institutions across Canada on culturally responsive care and was the recipient of the 2025 Sharon Carstairs Caring Community Award for her contributions to compassionate community care.
