What’s Your Story? Youth Storytelling & Creative Expression Workshop


This workshop invites Muslim youth ages 16–24 to explore the power of storytelling as a way to reflect on identity, experiences, and community.


Through guided storytelling and creative expression activities, participants will begin developing their personal stories while learning how stories can shape how we understand ourselves and others. The session will create a supportive space for youth to think about the experiences that have shaped them and explore different ways of expressing those stories.


The workshop will include both storytelling and expressive arts activities, allowing participants to explore their ideas through writing, conversation, and visual reflection.


This event is part of a three-part youth workshop series that connects storytelling, art, and dialogue. During this first session, participants will begin reflecting on their personal stories.

No previous storytelling or artistic experience is required. Youth are encouraged to come with an open…
