Canada Summer Job(s) at ISSA

For the past few years, ISSA has participated in the Canada Summer Jobs program to create meaningful work opportunities for youth in our community. These roles are not just about employment, but about building real skills, confidence, and experience in community-based work.

This summer, we are hiring an Administrative Clerk to support day-to-day operations, programs, and outreach.

Position length: 9 weeks | $16.00/hour

What You’ll Gain

About the Role: Administrative Clerk

As an Administrative Clerk will support the daily operations of ISSA, including organizing information, assisting with program coordination, maintaining records, and helping with communications. This role is suited for someone who is organized, reliable, and interested in community-based work. This is a 9-week summer position funded through Canada Summer Jobs, offering $16.00 per hour. You will also be exposed to how programs are planned, how outreach is done, and how administrative systems support larger initiatives.
